Meet the Team

Brandon Hayes
CEO
Brandon Hayes - President
Brandon “Magic Man” Hayes can often be seen running in multiple directions at the same time. He wears a lot of hats as he runs the tight ship known as Kalos Consulting. Brandon wanted to be a magician as a kid, but we think he really might be one as he creates magic here every day. Brandon has his hands full with wife Valerie, 2 young daughters Arielle and Lucy, and Toby the Spaniel. But no matter how much he’s juggling, he keeps his magical powers focused on business.
Brandon is a true lover of the outdoors and will take every opportunity to get a little dirty. He loves hunting, fishing, camping, and being in the sun. That must be why he can eat so much at those Brazilian steakhouses he loves so much. Brandon says the key to his heart is an adventure, but we know it’s really fresh brewed iced tea. Shaken, not stirred. When he isn’t making magic happen around the office, he’s laughing, telling jokes, and making people smile. He’s really a giant cuddly, sweet kid at heart but don’t tell him we said that.
A great way to break the ice with Brandon is to ask him about his voice impersonations. He does a lot of them and is quite talented at it.

Anthony Coltman
Senior Consultant
Anthony Coltman - Senior Recruiter
Anthony “Rugged Teddy Bear” Coltman has an eye for talent, that’s why he’s so effective as our senior recruiter. We think it’s because he’s great at noticing the unsaid details. Likely, considering his role as loving husband to Evelyn and attentive father to Addy & Sierra. Despite being a giant teddy bear and super easy to work with, Anthony is truly a rugged fella’. He loves to be barefoot and his favorite mornings are those where nature, mainly birds, is responsible for waking him up.
Anthony collects high-dollar lumber pieces to craft into timeless furniture for his family. He loves to be outside and enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, nature photography, and spending time by the ocean. But don’t let that fool you, Anthony also writes poetry, laughs at his own jokes, and is inspired by Nicolai Tesla. Consumed with learning, Anthony is a big fan of taking risks and using your faults as a catalyst for growth. He’s known for having a large palate and a genuine love for flavors. To get on his good side, it’s a sure bet to offer him eggs benedict on potato pancakes (assuming you’ve heard of such things.)
A great way to break the ice with Anthony is to ask him about his dream Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series, equipped with a tented roof and fully functioning fridge.

Sandra Ensign
Director of Operations/
Executive Assistant to the CEO
Sandra Ensign - Executive Assistant
Sandra “Sweet as Pie” Ensign (no, we didn’t give her that nickname but we agree it suits her) is the glue that holds our organization together. We think it may be due to her OCD-like organizational obsession. Like organizing her closet by colors and season. Whatever the case may be, we’re lucky to have her on top of every project. You’ll get to know Sandra in working with us and like us, we know you’ll love her.
Sandra has lived all over the sunny parts of the US and Germany. She loves her husband Patrick, her doggo Hailey, and Reese’s candy. If you’re looking to bribe her, we suggest Filet Mignon and Oreos, prepared separately, of course. As a recent resident of Phoenix, AZ, Sandra enjoys hiking, running, swimming, and nature walks with Hailey. Her dream would be to own a huge dog resort where her and Hailey can spoil and love (formerly) homeless dogs until their hearts are content.
A great way to break the ice with Sandra is to talk about music, as she was once a DJ and radio broadcaster.

Abbie Fisher
Client and Talent Acquisition Liaison
Abbie Fisher - Career Consultant
Abbie “Artsy Mom” Fisher works hard to help our team recruit and manage talent. Abbie’s family-first attitude is why she’s so patient and compassionate in her duties here at Kalos. When she’s not working, she’s constantly spending time with her 2 kids Alayna and Cullen, and Mike, her college sweetheart. Abbie and her children love arts and crafts, scrapbooking, and poetry.
Abbie collects anything related to dolphins as well as writing children’s books in her free time. Her creativity and love for arts are only surpassed by her love for dogs. She also loves to give to her community, finding as many ways as possible to contribute to her church, and her children’s school. As a kid, her career goals were to be a successful author, as well as design advertisements that will run during the Super Bowl.
A great way to break the ice with Abbie is to talk about her collection of Disney items. We’ll warn you though, it’s a pretty big collection.

Savannah Moon
Sales Development Representative and Marketing Specialist
Savannah Moon - Sales Development Representative and Marketing Specialist
Savannah “Fashionista” Moon is a trend setter with an eye for details, and a lover of all things outdoors. When she isn’t eating Sushi (no, really, she eats it at least 3 times a week) she’s likely at the gym, enjoying the great outdoors, or making memories with her family. With 8 siblings, 2 sets of parents, and a 13-year-old Bulldog named Gracie, Savannah is never short on love or fun; two things she greatly values. You might also catch her playing Blackjack and she’s good at it. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Savannah’s large family dynamic has taught her how to juggle relationships well and stay on track. Having strong, driven, and smart people in her
atmosphere pushes Savannah to constantly set the bar higher. Being a certified lash technician and a lover of fashion, she has an eye for the details. We think that’s why she’s a great fit here with us. Savannah loves the Oregon Coast where she enjoys floating down the river, hiking, and
biking. To unwind, she’ll tan by the pool with coconut water and a glass Cabernet Sauvignon where she’s probably listening to Mac Miller on
repeat. One day, she’ll do this from Greece on her dream vacation.
A great way to break the ice with Savannah (as if you couldn’t tell) is to talk about fashion. She grew up wanting to be a fashion buyer and she’s also a certified lash technician. We asked Brandon if he’d like lash extensions, but he hasn’t replied to our company-wide email yet.

Titus Matthews
Career Consultant
Titus Matthews - Career Consultant
Titus “say your prayers and take your vitamins” Matthews is a sports-loving, numbers-crunching systematic thinker with a penchant for success. If he isn’t watching sports, he’s probably playing them or analyzing them. From horse racing to MMA, Titus truly enjoys the competitive spirit of organized sports. You can bet that he’s catching every Ohio State and Denver Broncos game with his Goldendoodles, appropriately named Jet and
Bronco. Titus also enjoys live music, plays Bongo and Congo drums, and used to perform standup comedy.
Growing up with the desire to be a Sports Agent or Talent Scout, Titus always showed a knack for identifying talent. As a fan of Sports Analysts,
he understands how to assess attributes and make them measurable. His love for athletics has taught him the value and determination and hard
work. We think this is why he’s so valuable as a recruiter with Kalos. His son Gavin plays college baseball and his son Blaze plays baseball,
lacrosse, and football. Both have learned the value of practice and discipline from their father, a man who many will say achieves whatever he sets his mind to, much like Tim Tebow, who Titus is inspired by daily.
A great way to break the ice with Titus is to…I mean, do we really need to say it? Titus is more than happy to talk sports, or about his extensive baseball card collection.

Lydia Patti Ruffini
Career Consultant
Lydia Patti Ruffini - Career Consultant
Lydia “The Chameleon” Ruffini is a well-rounded personality who can easily blend her way right into a crown and into your heart. As an Executive Recruiter, she excels with an easy-to-talk-to attitude and an optimistic personality. Lydia loves to entertain her family, fur babies included, and often enjoys a loud and busy house. So don’t worry, she’ll keep things on track as she’s stealing your heart.
Speaking of hearts, we heard rumors Lydia is quite the player. She’s good at Spades, Pitch and Euchre. Some of her favorite memories are made when she’s playing Yahtzee with the grandkids or visiting Universal Studios. Her husband makes a mean Chicken Marsala and she makes a sinful Baily’s whipped coffee. Just don’t partake too much and agree to play her in Sorry…or you’ll probably end up sorry you did.
A great way to break the ice with Lydia is to talk about animals. When she was 12 she had established a career path to be a zoologist.

Stuart Modrzejewski
Career Consultant
Stuart Modrzejewski - Career Consultant
Stuart “Mr. Cool” Modrzejewski is kind of like our own personal James Bond. More like Jason Bourne, which happens to be the protagonist in Stuart’s favorite film, ‘The Bourne Identity. No, he’s not an assassin or a spy, but he is cool under pressure, like really cool. We think that’s what makes him a great recruiter is his collected demeanor and his even temper.
When he isn’t hanging out with his wife Michele and daughter Abi Joy, you can find Stuart jamming out on the guitar. Even since he was a young boy he loved music and wanted to play in a band. He also really likes cooking and roasting his own coffee beans. His favorite is beef tenderloin. If you like a good sandwich, Stuart makes one with horseradish sauce that’ll make you sweat (quite literally.) Stuart’s model for success is simple love deeply and faithfully, work hard and honestly, and navigate the rough stuff with as much grace as you can.
A great way to break the ice with Stuart is to talk about his Starbucks mugs. Stu once collected them during his travels, but eventually had to cut back due the the space they take up. We understand. How many cups of coffee can you REALLY drink at one time?
