The Role You will Play
- The Health Consulting Actuary will provide health care consulting services to multiemployer, private, and public sector clients.
- With primary focus on providing consulting services and managing clients, this role will review actuarial results and health care work.
- The Consulting Actuary will present actuarial health results to clients in a clear and easy to understand manner in order to help clients solve challenging problems.
- In addition, this role will participate in developing new business.
- In this role, you will have excellent future growth prospects to be or become the lead consultant for several existing Health clients and develop into a health expert.

Background Profile
- 10+ years of health actuarial consulting experience
- Expertise in managing all aspects of multiemployer, private, and/or public sector active health and welfare plans (e.g., cash flow projections, benefit change pricing, business partner selection, and negotiations, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex actuarial issues clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience
- Exceptional leadership skills
- FSA required
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university
