Exceptional Restaurant Manager with a Passion for Hospitality

Our client, a well-known and respected national group, is adding to their leadership team. They are seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager to maintain exceptional quality service in all aspects of this operation. Candidates must also have a very strong floor presence and have a feel for running a floor in a well-known and well-run downtown Chicago restaurant concept.

The Restaurant Manager will continually support development of the dining room staff, helping to provide an exceptional dining experience and build positive guest relations. The position will report to the General Manager and be held accountable for financial and service standards.   • Upscale Casual Management experience with a chef driven scratch kitchen concept

The RIGHT candidates must have these qualifications

  • At least three years of restaurant management experience in a upscale restaurant concept. Seafood and Steakhouse Concept in your background is a plus
  • Beverage Management in your background and knowledge of Liquor, Beer and Wine with ordering and cost controls
  • Ability to recruit, schedule, train and inspire staff
  • Above average computer skills including POS systems, scheduling systems, spreadsheets, word processing, internet and emails you are a tech savvy individual
  • Ability to represent the company to, and deal effectively with, guests, vendors, media, and other company contacts
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to convey ideas, give and take feedback
  • A culinary degree is a plus or at least be able to prove you have learned as much
