The Role You Will Play

  • The FileMaker Developer will work closely with the development team to design, develop, and implement custom FileMaker database solutions to support various business functions as well as discuss user interface ideas and applications for continued innovation.
  • This dynamic role, brings you directly to the clients, using your expertise to create and maintain efficient, scalable solutions tailored to organizational needs.
  • Development projects consist of post-production, some invoicing, and inventory as well as integrating FileMaker solutions with external systems using APIs such as RESTful API endpoints and web services.
  • This role will be the point person with a client where onsite presence will be required 2-3 days per week.
  • The FileMaker Developer is entrusted to document system architecture, workflows, and user guides to facilitate ongoing support and training while supporting all clients in times of need providing service, troubleshooting, and fixes.

Background Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in Claris FileMaker with proven abilities in developing with FileMaker Pro, including scripting, layout design, and relational database management
  • Strong understanding of Monkeybread Software (MBS) and IT infrastructure components such as Linux servers, AWS cloud services, Azure platforms, and network security protocols
  • Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript and Python.
  • Familiarity with application development methodologies such as Agile to ensure iterative progress and continuous improvement
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs for seamless integration between systems and data exchange
  • Claris FileMaker Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
