The Role You Will Play

  • The Data Science Actuary will provide actuarial and analytical expertise to support the development or enhancements of commercial data-solutions.
  • This role will lead, design, create and interpret end-to-end GLM’s with a typical focus on risk scores.
  • The Data Science Actuary will evaluate new external data sources and explore new applications of non-traditional data sources for the firm and its clients.
  • This role is entrusted to enhance the firm’s advanced analytics capabilities through the innovative application of cutting-edge techniques to generate novel business insights.

Background Profile

  • 6+ years actuarial experience in life insurance/reinsurance
  • Expertise in statistical modeling for insurance or related applications (Regression, Decision Trees, Time Series, etc.)
  • Experience as a project lead with supervisory and/or management experience
  • FSA accreditation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, or related field
